The 168 hour course option you select, either online or virtual, is accredited through the state of Colorado and is the course you need in order to take the state exam and apply for your license here in Colorado.
Rocky Mountain Real Estate School Course Choices
NEXT LIVE COURSES WILL BEGIN IN 2024.
This course is for the new real estate agent wishing to license with the State of Colorado. Included in the course: Two books, Principles of Modern Real Estate 20th Edition and The Colorado Compass. Together these two books provide the information students need to pass the state licensing required exams to obtain a real estate license. Also included is full access to the learning library, a PDF copy of all Colorado Contracts used for instruction as well as links to relevant Colorado Real Estate Commission Manuals.
In addition students have access to step by step video instructions for each unit in both books. Students may complete the course online with the use of books and video and may also choose to log in to zoom classes where the material is discussed live with an instructor. These classes are held regularly. Please check with your instructor for dates and times of the live zoom classes.

Students have six months to complete the requirements for graduation. You may upgrade at any time to a zoom instructor led course for an additional fee.

This is not a licensing course. The Colorado Compass book was written by our instructors and is specifically sold separately to agents that are transferring in from other states that require only this portion to be licensed in Colorado. We wrote and published this book and keep it updated as the test changes. This is for licensed real estate brokers with another state.
Colorado allows for most agents who have a license in another state to also license in Colorado by taking and passing just the Colorado specific portion of the licensing exam.
